So, the results are in for the Writer’s Digest 2018 Self-Published Book Awards contest! Sadly, Stirring Power didn’t place like it did in Reader’s Favorite. However, the judges gave me some excellent scores!
On a scale of 0-5, with 5 being the best:
Structure, Organization, and Pacing: 4
Spelling, Punctuation, and Grammar: 4
Production Quality and Cover Design: 5
Plot and Story Appeal: 4
Character Appeal and Development: 3
Voice and Writing Style: 5
Looks like I’m more of a plot writer than a character one, but hey practice makes perfect right?
