Pros: This is an excellently written story about Skylar Crosby and Brandon Sterling. They’re attracted to each other at first sight, but are kept apart by Skylar’s need for independence and the danger lurking in her family’s history. The great prose and well-crafted scenes make the story go by in a blink. Most of the time I found myself reading it rather than paying attention to my need for food.
Cons: Sex talk and exclamations take me out of the scene. I think it’s something that a reader should assume rather than have to read every single time (but that might just be my own personal preference). Also, it’s not a factor in my rating, but I prefer that romances are concluded in one novel.
